Our Founder
Leslie Dimas is the founder of VIDA Strategies.
She brings experience across corporate finance, government relations, and advocacy, offering clients both technical rigor and practical insight. Leslie began her career in corporate finance at JPMorgan Chase, where she worked with complex portfolios and high-level financial analysis. That experience continues to inform her structured, data-driven approach to strategy and decision-making.
Leslie grew up in Belvidere, Illinois, in a union household shaped by values of responsibility, fairness, and dignity of work. Her perspective was further shaped by her family’s experience navigating the U.S. immigration and justice systems. These experiences deepened her understanding of how policy and institutional decisions affect families and communities beyond the boardroom.
Through VIDA Strategies, Leslie advises organizations on research, strategy, stakeholder alignment, and communication. Her work is direct, disciplined, and grounded in lived understanding. She believes credibility is built through consistency, not optics, and that strong leadership requires both analytical skill and moral clarity.
Leslie is very proud of her Mexican American heritage and lives in Chicago. Leslie loves Chicago sports. She is a Chicago White Sox and a lifelong Chicago Bears fan.
